Madbum + Jump Rope = LOVE

8 PAX took on the challenge this morning.

Taco Cat, Madbum, Squirrel, Aruba, Macho Man, McFly, FroYo, and Waldorf (Q)

Warm Up

  • Alternate loop around downtown – during this warm up Taco Cat mentioned that I should just have random cadence numbers throughout the workout.  This idea was immediately implemented. 
  • Arm circles – and thank you Squirrel for asking about “making them bigger.”
  • Grass getters
  • Windmills
  • Dips on the wall (after the turf battle with Gumby) x2
  • Step ups x2

The Thing

  • Pick a best friend out of the box (aka jump rope)
  • Mosey to the train station for the following
    • 1 min of jump rope
    • Merkins
    • 1 min of jump rope
    • Karaoke
    • 1 min of jump rope
    • Walking lunges
    • 1 min of jump rope
    • SSH
  • Mosey over the park for some ab work
    • LBCs
    • Long slow flutter
    • Freddy Mercury
    • 100 – in honor of Squirrel
  • Dora
    • 100 Merkins
    • 200 Squats
    • One minute of jump rope

Back to the courts for some stretching and close out.

Prayer requests:  McFly’s sister – she is getting better, the Tuna 200 participants, and Squirrel’s mother-in-law

Take away – literally.  Madbum asked if he could take his jump rope home to practice.  How cool is that???
