A Royal Visit

PAX: Neo, Mel, Moneyball, Josey, Breaker, Flying Tomato, Quatro, Bow Tie, Aruba, Chitwood, Colt

QIC: Froyo

On this, the day of commeration for the Q’s completion of 35 years of life, the workout began like any other:

Warmups IC with arm circles, flapjacked, chinooks, cherry pickers, and good mornings.

With the slight drizzle on, the PAX got to quacking, and began two-lined Duck-style Indian Run towards Camelot, stopping to hit the ATM twice along the way.  We also found out that the top rung of the split rail fence is no match for 12 PAX members.  Ooops.

To enter Camelot uninvited, the King requested a burpee pyramid to 4, which the PAX abliged with only slight consternation.  Upon entering , the PAX enjoying a pull-up, LBC, squat circuit.  And when I say enjoyed, I mean it was particularly appreciated by those PAX members who were still wearing their RUCKS from the principle Ruck.

15 burpees later, we left Camelot, hitting the ATM one more time before the long Indian Run back to the parking lot.  5 Minutes of mary included 35×4-count AH’s, 18 rosies, 17 dollies, and 35×4-count long slow flutters. Oh and 4 Burpees, so the Q completed his birthday burpees…with a little help from his friends.

Ended up with circle of trust and ball of man, prayers for Moneyball and his job interview today.

Moleskin: Consider it PURE JOY my brothers, when you face trials of many kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.  Said another way, “Don’t waste the intense hardships of life by wishing they would be done and finished.  When you endure, your faith will become even more fruitful than it was before.”
