Four Pax, took the Daily Red Pill (DRP) this morning and got better because for it.

The Pax: Lucha, Neo, CPT D and Squirrel

The Scene: Wet and warm for this time in the year.  

The Thang:

Warm Up:

  • 50 Side Straddle Hops
  • Arm circles…Flapjack
  • Standing Seal Claps
  • Minute Plank

On the Ground: 

  • 50 LBC Crunches
  • 50 Rev Crunches
  • 40 Freddy Mercurys
  • Minute Plank

Shovel Flag:

  1. 40 Squat Jumps, 40 Peter Parkers. Mode of Transportation to shovel flag = Duck Walk (Repeato).  Duck walk back to start
  2. 40 Side lunges, 40 Plank to Elbow Plank. Mode of Transportation to shovel flag = Lunge walk (Repeato). Lunge walk back to start
  3. 40 Reverse Lunge to Knee up, 20 Hand Release-Release Merkins. Mode of Transportation to shovel flag = Bear Crawl.  Neo’s comment of “did he just say that” resonated with all present!  (Repeato). Bear Crawl back to start.

Twas a rather pleasant gathering this morning. The sun was asleep, the wind was blowing and the rain a-flowing.  This year starts off like many others with a shimmering dawn and a group of people sweating in a field. It’s strange how it feels just like yesterday but it was actually a year ago, man how the time flies. Henyways, breathing and living into the good times. Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life.
