Rolling Back for the Holidays

11 Pax entered the Outpost gloom and got better by rolling back.

Warmup:

 track loop, followed by in cadence SSH, arm circles, morrocan night clubs, 3 Rivers-Style SSH, and goofballs.

Thang:

Copper routine with lap-burpees-squts-Merkins, 10 to 1, using Half of the soccer field for the lap. Rather than normal burpees, we engaged in Walmart burpees! They were incredible . If you don’t know, Walmart burpees are the burpee’s discount store brother, where the fun gets rolled back. Drop down to a squat like a normal burpee, but go all the way to your six and roll back to your shoulder blades. Roll forward, and when your feet hit the ground, put your hands in front and jump back to a plank. The rest is like a normal burpee, with merkin, thruster, and jump (hands over head).

Wrapped up with pretzel crunches and monkey humpers.

Squirrel announced the comms switch from Groupme to Slack for F3 Sandhills. Gives better features , function, form, and flexibility.

Moleskin:

I was reminded after a conversation with a friend this weekend that after the attack on our power infrastructure last week, it’s not really business as usual. The lights came back on, but many are still shook by the whole event. This is a time for us to pray specifically and to listen well. We are often called to be a friend (even maybe to those outside of our normal circles), listening and giving people time to process, and looking for opportunities to speak of the hope we have!
