Spring Training 2019

7 Members of F3 Sandhills came out for tryouts

This year we are paying tribute to 2 departing Giants. One with a celestial discharge Willie Mc Covey and the other Bruce Bochy due to retirement (after this season).

Warmup ups

Vault afraid we had no batting practice this year!!!!!

Dora 1-2-3 Baseball style.

• After only one explanation this times….we paired up
• exercises 100 burpees, 200 merkins, 300 catcher squats
• while one part of team was doing the exercise the other would sprint to first return to home base and ..next time run a double , next triple and finally all the way around and switch.

Drills

A pax member picked 2 cards from F3 deck. Chose one of the exercises. We did 15 reps of said exercise and then did fielding drill to other baseline. repeated exercises and did drill back to original baseline.

The Fielding drills were high knees, butt kickers, left side shuffle (with throw to second) and right side shuffle with throw to first..

Finally   Elvis Merkins!!!!

As stated previously it is about Heaven you uhh jokers!!!!
