5 PAX showed up to for another #beatdown at the Stronghold, and hopefully came away a little bit better than before.

The Thang:

Warm-up lap around the block, and then straight to the BBall Courts for COP.

COP:  Good Mornings x 15, Cotton/Grass  Pickers x 15, Arm Circles x 15, Flapjack x15, Squats x 15 (all in cadence)

We then went for an Indian run around Broad Street and had finished at the old Mexican Restaurant on Penn. Ave for the following:

Jacob’s Ladder (start at Mexican Restaurant and run down to Fire Station) of Merkins and 4 count American Hammers.  Starting at 20-1 and complete as many rounds as possible before time expires.

We completed 5 rounds before time expired, and then returned to the BBall Courts for to join everyone from Gumby. We then counted off and did announcements, prayers, praises, and Chitwood led us out in prayer. Great work by all.

Moleskin: Really appreciate everyone showing up, and putting forth excellent effort. Please keep all of the Pax who are traveling right now in your prayers. Prayers for the following: Docker’s niece (Annie), who’s Husband (Isaac) passed away unexpectedly from a pulmonary embolism, leaving behind an 11 month old and an expected 2nd child. Prayers for God’s grace on their family during this time. Prayer ‘s for  Poacher’s sister –in –law (debra), who entered heaven triumphantly yesterday. Prayers for peace and comfort for the family. Prayers for Mcfly’s Sister (Emily in Tx), who recently was diagnosed with Lymphoma due to the mass in her lung, and resulting tests for that. Prayer for the Doctors/Nurse involved in her care to hear God’s wisdom on how to best treat Emily during this time. Praise for Schlitz’s Wife, who recently accepted an employment opportunity.  That is excellent news. Continued prayers for Cindy J (one of my staff members) from her recent surgery.   May God’s grace shine down on us and let us be the light that we were made to be in this world.  I appreciate every one of y’all and I will See Y’all next time in the gloom.
