Winter Games

4 PAX answered the call Monday morning, took the DRP, and joined the Olympic movement.  Schlitz and Snake took home the gold medals in the Biathlon.  Poacher and Meat Sweats won silver.  The ruckers got bronze, because everyone gets a trophy these days except for the fart sackers who forgot that F3 Workouts are ALWAYS outdoors — rain, shine, heat or cold.  It actually stopped raining and wasn’t too cold.

 

The Pax: Snake, Schlitz, Poacher. 

Captain D, Aruba, Ostertag, and Vault were rucking. 

Dos Equis, Bourne, and Flying Tomato were running.

 

QIC: Meat Sweats

 

Warm Up:  Box Trot 2 laps.  Windmills, Grass Getters, Imperial Walkers, Arm Circles, Finkle Swings, and Floor Sweepers. 

 

The Thang: 

Biathlon (sprinting and corn hole)

        Team member 1 tosses one bag while team member 2 planks

If it’s “in the hole”, then team member 1 sprints 50m out and back, team member 2 tosses one bag, etc.

If it’s “on the board”, then team member 1 does 5 merkins, sprints 50m out and back, team member 2 tosses one bag, etc.

If it’s “off the board”, then team member 1 does 5 burpees, sprints 50m out and back, team member 2 tosses one bag, etc.

Repeato

Team with the most, full 100m sprints over 5 minutes wins.

 

800m “Hurdles “

        First runner sprints from start line and hurdles over second runner who is planking 40m away, hurdles over third runner who is planking another 40m away, hurdles over fourth runner who is planking another 40m away runs another 40m, planks, yells to second runner to sprint 40m to third runner, etc.

        Two laps.

 

800m Long track race

       Sprint straight away, lunge first curve, sprint straight away, Apollo Ono second curve   , repeato.

Prayer Requests:  Deborah (Poacher’s sister in law) and Snake’s mom; both have cancer.  Captain D’s friend Dan whose 18 year old son took his own life.
