Pax: Fro Yo, Captain D, Striker, Chitwood, Ostertag, Vault, Josie, Mcfly, Breaker, Dos Equis, Mel, Flying Tomato, Fragile, Scout, Mad Bum
16 PAX showed up wanting to spend time with their dates and hopefully enjoyed a beautiful morning.
Warm ups with an unusual run, then circled up for good mornings and arm circles with brief stops to do 5 burpees.
We all gathered our dates and with a bigger than normal crowd, we had to split between cinder blocks and sandbags. We alternated right shoulder, left shoulder and overhead presses as we walked toward the first fire hydrant. And just for fun, we include burpees along the way.
Next was the lunge down to the second fire hydrant and yes, some more fun burpees along the way.
After partnering up, we spent time with Dora (100 merkins, 200 LBC’s, and 300 copperhead squats). The runner got to spend more time with their dates as they ran up the hill holding it and then doing 10 overhead presses.
We made it back up the hill with alternating right and left shoulders, and curls and, of course, more burpees.
COT with 5 more burpees and then prayer.
Moleskin: It was a great thing to see 16 men out in the gloom to get better. Yet again, I feel so honored to be in the middle leading the group. I may have only rated a 138 by Fragile, I feel it still hit the mark :-). Fragile tried to ditch his date by dropping it, thus the title of the workout. May it sit in ruins to remind us to alway care for our M’s and never drop our responsibilities to be great men each and every day.
