Pax: Neo, Madbum, Mel, Vault, Chitwood, Striker, Scout, Squirrel, Bourne
10 Pax gathered in the gloom, chock full-O-rain and got better.
They first got better by doing DUCK AND WEAVE, because it is the “better maker.” If there is a moment during the day where I may ponder, how can I get better in this moment? The answer is often, “well, I must duck and weave.” And so, we did.
We moseyed from the valley up to the summit, also known as “just out front of Sprocket’s house.” There, we did a MUCHO CHESTO to honor the great Sprocket fartsack event that was taking place.
DUCK AND WEAVE to the shelter, for 50x 4-count AMERICAN HAMMERS, WINDSHIELD WIPERS (10-COUNT), 50x 4-count SIDE STRADDLE HOPS.
Then, a PARTNER SPRINT up the hill and back to the hockey rink.
(And yes, still raining).
A round of ELEVENS with MERKINS and LBCs. Thanks to Vault for finding the big puddle at the end of the court!
In honor of the great Aruba fartsack we performed 10x WALMART MERKINS, which are the discount store brother of the classic merkin, where the fun just gets rolled back.
Rounded out with 15x 4-count MERKINS, 30x 4-count LBCs.
Moleskin: As Squirrel led us out in prayer, the word that resonated was “humbled.” The rain, you see, it lands on us all. Sometimes, we are down in the thick of it, unable to remember what being dry feels like. And then, Vault steps in a big puddle, and you finally have something (someone) to laugh at again. I’m grateful for brothers who will be in the rain, getting soggy wid me. That’s what He did, and so we do as well.
