QIC: Flying Tomato
Pax: Magic, Single Shot, Mad Bum
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”
2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV
For a moment, it looked like only magic and flying tomato we’re going to do the work out but as usual mad bum showed up late with his brother. therefore 4 brave man showed up in the gloom.
We began with some light stretching consisting of 10 Burpee’s Oyo and Mucho Chesto. We then took a light jog to the sandbags with each of us picking up two.
The pax picked up their bags with one in each hand and walked to the back of the baseball field working on their grip strength.
We stopped to do a set Of 20 bicep curls in cadence, 10 shoulder presses, 10 skull crushers and 10 sandbag swings with our sandbag. After a 10 count, we did five Burpee’s to cool down. Since the bags were getting a little heavy we decided to drag both bags while bear crawling For approximately 100 yards. We then returned in a crabwalk position pulling our sandbags. We repeated all of the above three times.
YHC then lead the pax with some light Mary workout. In cadence, we did 10 overhead sandbag WWII sit-ups, 25 dying cockroaches, 25 side oblique crunches on each side and 25 American hammers.
We picked up our sandbags and carried them back to their home working on our grip strength.
We finished off with superman and mad bum closed out in prayer.
Moleskin: mad bum had the best technique for the crabwalk sandbag drag turning it into a rowing exercise. Magic stayed strong in one of his final postings before touring the world. Although single shot was much better looking than his brother, he struggled to stay up with him.
