Gumby Encouragement….

Eight Pax, took the Daily Red Pill (DRP) this morning and got better.

The Gumby Pax: Josey, Wrangler, Berry, Aruba, Fine Print, Flying Tomato and Meat Sweats (Q: Squirrel)

The Scene: Pretty dad-gum nice.

The Pax all gathered ‘round in the Gloom preparing for Quatro’s beatdown and Squirrels relaxing, meditative, soothing flow.  We all witnessed Poachers ability to fit his tiny car into an average parking space.  To which he unfurled himself from the front seat to beam proudly of this “feat of manliness.”

Chitwood lead us out in prayer

MOLESKINE:  Encouraging words from a friend can really help, especially when one is feeling deep down in the dumps. Sometimes all you need is a little push, to overcome problems and achieve goals in life.

Hope … is all we need to continue moving on with life. There are many ups and downs, and these upheavals are what make every individual a better person. However, there may be times in life when we allow ourselves to fall into a deep abyss of despair. During this time, a few words of encouragement from a fellow brother can serve as a guiding light or an outstretched hand for us to pull ourselves out of the despair.  Inspiring sayings not only help in motivation, they also inspire others to give their best.  Encouraging words spoken to your soul can help find an optimistic path through life.

Here are a few quotes for you today:

Never be afraid to try something new… the Titanic was built by professionals, but Noah’s Ark, was built by an amateur ~Anonymous

*sure, God gave Noah the blueprint, but he had to build it to his specs.

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” ~ Mark Twain

“When you feel like giving up, think back on why you started in the first place.  Don’t quit.  The temptation to bail may be strong, but you keep going because a brother in the Gloom mumbles a word of encouragement. Start again, with beginners mind.”  ~ Squirrel

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.  We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson

There are times when we need to hear a rallying cry from others when your tank is empty.  A word of encouragement said in the Gloom may just be the prescription that is needed.  For today, be optimistic, keep your eyes open for an opportunity to lift another up.  You – yes YOU – got up, posted in the Gloom and got better.  Your powerful beyond measure!  When the opportunity presents itself today thrust out your calloused hand that has the dirt ground-in dirt for that other person to grab onto.
