Glad it’s Not Beano…Beano Inspired Workout

Six Pax, took the DRP this morning and got better.

The Pax: Scout, Napalm, Kirby, McQueen, Jigsaw, and Roadhouse (Q).

The Scene: Gorgeous morning, woke up to breaking daylight and birds singing.

 

Warm-Up

Our good friend Beano put the call for a Q switch for he was on the road again.  It’s been a while since I led a “regular” workout, so I was happy to oblige.  With the Q switch I figured this might be an opportunity to give some of the Pax, who fear a Beano workout, the chance to get in on a little Beano inspired fun.  With the light turnout, apparently a Roadhouse workout is not much better!!!

Basketball Courts

15 Hand Release Push-ups (narrow grip) – IC/Beano Style

25 Long Slow Flutter – IC

Mosey to the far end of the train station

Apparently, Scout had to detour to the Parthajon.  Roadhouse, Napalm, and Kirby picked up the six and moseyed to the Playground.

Bolt 45 – 15 half squats, 15 squats from halfway to the bottom, 15 full squats with no break in between movements.

5 Pull-ups – OYO

What kind of Beano inspired workout would it be with no pullups???

 

Scout led us out in prayer.

 

Great work today.  The chance to lead left me feeling invigorated, there may be more Roadhouse Saturday workouts coming soon…
