D.U.C.K. Q

8 PAX showed up in the glom despite the ominous D.U.C.K. forecast the night before.

The Pax: Neo, Goblin, Scout, Flying Tomato, Rip, Mcfly, Mad Bum, Aruba

QIC: Rip

The Thang:

Warmup: 2 Mosey Laps, SSH, Good Mornings, Imperial Walkers, Cotton Pickers, Arm Circles, Flapjacks

D.U.C.K. Routine:

DORA 1-2-3 – 2 PAX working together to meet cumulative exercise (100 Merkins, 200 LBC’s, 300 Squats) while Lunging to the end of the lot and back

UP-Downs: Circle up. High Knees. Take turns calling “down”. On “down” call, drop to a Burpee. Jump back “up” to high knees and await next “down” call.

Clock Merkins: Each PAX selects a parking curb. 5 Incline Merkins at 12:00 position, hand-walk to 3:00 position for 5 Merkins, hand-walk to 6:00 position for 5 Decline Merkins, hand-walk to 9:00 position for 5 Merkins.

Kross-Situp: Done in slow cadence. Start on your six in “X” position. Bring right foot to left hand, return, then bring left foot to right hand, return. That’s one.

Duck Walk Freeze Tag: Exactly like it sounds.

Moleskin: Despite the wet forecast, 8 men still turned out to work out. Much like our feelings, the forecast can be fickle and prone to change at a moment’s notice. Our resolve and commitment cannot be dependent on the fickle forecast of our feelings.

Stay strong men. Commit to do hard things, even when they’re hard. Use the accountability and resolve of one another to stand firm in your faith. May we all be committed men – to our God, to our families, to our communities.
