Burpee Ladder – The Whole Time

70 Degrees on a warm Thursday.

QIC:  Quatro

PAX – Flying Tomato (War Daddy), Kaffe, Aruba, Bullseye, Beastmode, Winchester, Scout, Squirrel, Josey, Quatro.

The Thang:  After the disclaimer, warm up lap, and a few warm up exercises (Good Mornings, Windmills which were too fast for Scout, Imperial Walkers, and Arm Circles) we started a burpee ladder routine.

10 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Scout (Xs and Os)

9 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Josey (of course Josey picked 10 OYO Burpees for his choice, not a Pax favorite, but Josey was happy)

8 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Tomato (LBCs, a NORMAL exercise choice unlike brother Josey)

7 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Kaffee (run around the block)

6 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Aruba (Copperhead Squats)

5 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Bullseye (circle leg press thing-can’t remember name)

4 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Beastmode (merkins)

3 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Winchester (20 supines)

2 OYO Burpees, then an exercise chosen by Squirrel (Bulgarian squats)

1 OYO Burpee, then side straddle hops.

We then repeated back up the ladder from 1 to 10 Burpees again, with the following changes:  Beastmode chose side straddle hops and Winchester chose LBDs.  We tried to get Josey to change his 10 OYO Burpees, but to no avail.

It was great to Q again after a long time of not doing that.  I allowed the Covid crazy to leave far too many days where I didn’t take the red pill and go get after it in the gloom.  Thanks to all PAX for being there as I get back to it.  Our second and third F connections are what really keep us motivated to keep showing up and get better together.

Circle of Trust bore the need for us to continue to pray for our nation in light of everything going on right now.  May we all do our part to foster relationships that will continue to unite and not divide.
